Yunming
Arsenic has been reported in the mines of Yunan province for over 30 years. Many lung cancers were seen among the miners, many of whom were children. But it is hard to distinguish the cancers caused by radon gas and those caused by arsenic.
Sinkiang
Arsenic has been reported in the drinking water wells of Sinkiang at levels up to 1 milligram per m3. This is (slowly) being studied by the University in Urumchi. We hope to post details on the web very shortly.
